Innovative technology giant TECNO has extended its strategic partnership with the Confederation of African Football (CAF), officially becoming the Global Partner of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 and the CAF Africa Cup of Nations 2027, to be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
The renewed collaboration marks a significant milestone for TECNO, which continues to align its “Stop at Nothing” spirit with Africa’s most celebrated football tournament. The company had previously served as the exclusive smartphone sponsor during the 2023 edition, winning praise for blending cutting-edge technology with the passion of African football.
Benjamin Jiang, Vice President of Transsion Holdings, hailed the renewed partnership as a powerful symbol of ambition and shared progress.
“This renewed partnership is a testament to the deep trust and shared success we’ve built with CAF,” Jiang said. “In our previous collaboration, we witnessed how football ignited passion and inspired dreams, and how AI-powered smart technologies became tools to connect and empower millions across Africa.”
“This partnership stands as a platform where young people can shine—united by an unstoppable spirit of progress. It reflects our shared vision of harnessing AI-driven innovation to shape a brighter future for Africa.”
In line with that vision, TECNO will continue its Dream on the Field Renovation Campaign, launched in 2024 in collaboration with CAF. The campaign aims to enhance access to quality football facilities in underserved communities, while promoting youth engagement and empowerment through technology.

CAF General Secretary Véron Mosengo-Omba praised TECNO’s contribution to football development across the continent.
“TECNO’s longstanding support for football in Africa has had a meaningful impact on the development of the sport,” he said.
“The Africa Cup of Nations symbolizes passion and the achievement of life-long dreams. Deepening this partnership will help ensure that AFCON 2025 and 2027 reach new heights of excitement and engagement for football fans.”
The new agreement cements TECNO’s role not just as a technology provider, but as a cultural force supporting the aspirations of Africa’s youth. With a strong foothold in smartphone innovation, AI-powered imaging, and sleek design, TECNO continues to build emotional connections with younger generations across the continent.
