The Postal Corporation of Kenya (PCK) has announced a comprehensive digital transformation strategy aimed at reviving the entity, enhancing service delivery, and securing the livelihoods of its workforce.
The strategy was unveiled during a high-level meeting held Tuesday and chaired by the Principal Secretary for Broadcasting and Telecommunications, Stephen Isaboke.
The PCK leadership team was led by Postmaster General John Kipyegon Tonui and Joan Toroitich, General Manager for Payment Services.
At the heart of the turnaround plan are three key pillars: modernization of ICT infrastructure, expansion of the courier and logistics business, and scaling up of digital financial services through the corporationâs flagship platform, Posta Pay.
âPosta Pay will be instrumental in enabling secure cash disbursements, seamless money transfers, and access to universal financial services, particularly in underserved regions,â said Toroitich.

The transformation is part of efforts to re-establish PCK as a competitive and relevant player in Kenyaâs dynamic digital economy.
It also aims to future-proof the institution by aligning it with global trends in digital service delivery and e-commerce.
The Principal Secretary lauded the corporationâs leadership for its bold vision, emphasizing that innovation and adaptability will be key to sustaining public institutions in the digital age.
The digital overhaul is expected to not only modernize operations but also create new revenue streams and enhance customer experience across the country.
