The Media Council of Kenya (MCK) has ushered in a new phase of leadership following the appointment and reappointment of several distinguished individuals to its governing Council.
This development signals renewed commitment to the promotion of ethical journalism, media freedom, and professional standards across the country.
At the helm is Joseph Maina Muiruri, appointed as Chairperson of the Council.

Muiruri is not a stranger to the Council, having served in the same capacity before.
Joining him are Council members Tabitha Mutemi, Timothy Wanyonyi Chetambe, Susan Karago, and Joram Temesi Mukani, the representative from the Ministry.
