The Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS) will on Friday hold the 11th Graduation Ceremony of the Kenya Red Cross Training Institute at the Boma Hotel, Nairobi.

Themed “We Care. For Humanity,” the event will celebrate about 250 graduates drawn from various medical and disaster management disciplines.

The Cabinet Secretary for Health, Aden Duale, will grace the occasion as Guest of Honour.

This year’s class includes 60 diploma holders in Paramedicine, 85 Advanced Certificate in Emergency Medical Technician graduates, 90 Health Care Assistants, and 15 Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) graduates.

According to KRCS, the training institute continues to strengthen Kenya’s capacity in pre-hospital care, disaster preparedness, and response, aligning its programs with Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) frameworks.

The Institute equips both local and international students with vital emergency response skills, contributing to a growing pool of professionals supporting universal health care and humanitarian service.

In an official invite, the Society reaffirmed its commitment to saving lives and livelihoods while promoting professionalism, inclusivity, and quality in disaster response.
