Kisii Comes Together to Honour Road Crash Victims and Promote Safer Streets

By KPC Reporter

Kisii County marked the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims with a moving show of unity, as families, survivors, youth groups and agencies walked and cycled in honour of lives lost.

Led by officials from the Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) and and the National Transport Safety Authority (NTSA), the day blended tribute with action—sharing safety lessons, amplifying victim voices and urging accountability.

Their message was simple and human: every name remembered is a future stolen, and every safer road saves a family from grief.

Below are some pictures from the activity.
