The second week of the Nairobi County Cricket Association T20 League delivered thrilling matches, with former champions Stray Lions A continuing their winning streak. Here’s a rundown of the day’s action:
Stray Lions A beat Sir Ali A by 3 runs in a closely contested match.
Sir Ali A won the toss and put Stray Lions A to bat, who posted 175 for 5 in 20 overs.
Irfan Karim’s impressive 70 off 41 balls, including 3 boundaries and 6 sixes, laid the foundation for the Lions’ total.
Aman Gandhi’s 52 off 54 deliveries and Shuham Jadhav’s 30 off 19 balls supported the innings.
In response, Sir Ali A managed 170 for 8 in 20 overs, with Gerald Mwendwa emerging as the best bowler for the Lions.
Shree Cutchi Leva Patel Samaj A thrash Ngara A
Shree Cutchi Leva Patel Samaj A defeated Ngara A by 136 runs, thanks to Narendra Patel’s 70 off 42 and Aditya Vekaria’s 79 off 33.
Sikh Union A handed Ruaraka A a 109-run defeat, with skipper Sukhdeep Singh scoring a match-winning century (150 off 57 balls).
The Sikhs’ massive total of 259/3 in 20 overs proved too much for Ruaraka A, who managed 150 for 8 in 20 overs. Sumit Parashar took 3 wickets for Sikh Union A.

In other matches, Kanbis B beat Obuya Academy A by 3 runs, SCLPS B defeated Ruaraka B by 8 wickets, Legends beat Ngara B by 8 runs, and Sir Ali B beat Nairobi Gymkhana B by 5 wickets.
