Narok County Jubilee Party leaders have called for greater inclusivity, enhanced grassroots mobilisation, and increased representation of women and youth within party structures.
Speaking at a Jubilee Party engagement in Kilgoris, Narok Jubilee Party Chairman Philip Ntalamia thanked former President and party leader Uhuru Kenyatta for appointing them as Secretary General, noting that the move has strengthened the party at the county level.
Ntalamia emphasised the need for all communities, including those from Transmara, to feel represented in Jubilee leadership. He urged residents to join the party, describing it as a democratic platform that accommodates diverse voices.
“We want a party that brings everyone on board and gives equal opportunities to all communities,” Ntalamia said.
Rose Ketere echoed the call for inclusivity, highlighting the region’s large voter base and the need for fair representation in Kilgoris, including the chairperson’s position. She stressed that women and youth should be given leadership roles rather than leaving them exclusively to men.
Ketere also urged residents to register as Jubilee Party members and called for civic education to guide people through the registration process.
She further encouraged party aspirants to officially register so the party can identify and support emerging leaders.
“We are asking the Secretary General to come to Kilgoris and guide us on the party’s direction because we believe in his leadership,” she added.
Kilgoris parliamentary aspirant Stanley Mark said Jubilee has given emerging leaders hope and motivation.
“This party has brought us light and shown us the way forward by recognising local leaders,” Mark noted.
With these calls for inclusivity and grassroots engagement, Jubilee leaders in Narok aim to strengthen the party while empowering women, youth, and all communities in the county.
