The 2026 Magical Kenya Open blends elite golf and premium entertainment, headlined by Nyashinski and Njerae at the Johnnie Walker Entertainment Village, Karen Country Club.
As the Official Alcohol Beverage and Entertainment Partner, Johnnie Walker returns with an expanded programme aimed at elevating the fan experience through music, lifestyle activations and curated social spaces alongside the on-course action.
The Tournament Village opens on Friday, February 20, after the second round and the cut, featuring sets by DJs Nijo, Redbone, Vera and Festa, with DJ Trixy as resident DJ and Kibunja as emcee.
Saturday’s entertainment builds alongside Round Three, culminating in a headline performance by Nyashinski, a Johnnie Walker brand ambassador and one of Kenya’s most accomplished artists.
The “Mungu Pekee” hitmaker, who is set to release a new album in April titled The Showman Residency, is renowned for his lyrical depth, genre-blending sound and commanding live performances.
He is also a former member of the iconic Kleptomanix group.

Saturday’s line-up will also include DJ Mista C, DJ E, DJ Lisney and Daq Child, alongside resident DJ Benitez and emcee Gogo, reinforcing the tournament’s growing reputation as a complete sport-and-lifestyle event.
The tournament concludes on Sunday, February 22, with the final round followed by a headline performance from Njerae, one of Kenya’s fastest-rising contemporary artists.
Known for her soulful voice and distinctive sound, Njerae has built a strong following for music that is both relatable and refreshing—ideal for a Valentine’s weekend finale. DJs MGM, Ivy, Grauchi and Pierra will perform, with DJ Payne as resident DJ and Kwambox as emcee.
Commenting on the entertainment programme, Maureen Osoro, Marketing Manager for Spirits at East African Breweries Limited, said the sponsorship is designed to create meaningful fan experiences.
“Our sponsorship of the Magical Kenya Open is not only about supporting world-class golf, but also about elevating how fans experience the tournament,” she said.
“Through the Johnnie Walker Village, we are creating a vibrant, well-curated space where people can enjoy great music, connect with friends and celebrate responsibly after a day on the course.”
Now in its 57th edition, the Magical Kenya Open is a DP World Tour event featuring 144 players from more than 25 countries and broadcast to millions of homes worldwide.
Johnnie Walker has sponsored the tournament to the tune of KES 65 million, supporting logistics and enhancements to the overall fan experience.
