More than 100 invited golfers and guests have converged at Karen Country Club today for the NCBA Corporate Golf Day, a premium sporting and networking event.

The event is meant to underscore the bank’s commitment to relationship-driven engagement.

The tournament, which is separate from the main NCBA Golf Series calendar, features an 18-hole format designed to encourage friendly competition, sportsmanship and meaningful interaction.

Participants have been drawn from NCBA’s corporate clients, high-net-worth individuals and strategic partners, who are also enjoying curated hospitality experiences throughout the day.

Making a return after its last edition in 2018, the Corporate Golf Day forms part of NCBA Group’s sustained investment in golf as a strategic engagement platform.

Over the past five years, the Group has expanded its footprint in the sport through flagship initiatives such as the annual NCBA Golf Series and the Kenya Amateur Golf Championship, alongside other competitive and development-focused tournaments held across the country.

Through these initiatives, NCBA has positioned itself as a leading corporate supporter of golf in Kenya, promoting both elite competition and amateur participation while creating valuable touchpoints with stakeholders in a relationship-focused setting.

Speaking ahead of the event, NCBA Group Managing Director John Gachora said the Corporate Golf Day reflects the Group’s deliberate focus on long-term partnerships and sustainable growth.

“At NCBA, we understand that sustainable growth is built on trust, consistency and shared ambition. The Corporate Golf Day is more than a sporting event; it is an opportunity to pause, connect and appreciate the clients and partners who continue to grow with us,” Gachora said.
