Franklin Kipyator and Aisha Duba delivered standout performances to emerge top winners at the latest leg of the NCBA Golf Series held at the Kenya Railway Golf Club, headlining a fiercely competitive Division I field.
Kipyator posted an impressive round of 69 gross to claim the Overall Men’s Gross title, setting the benchmark with a composed display of accuracy and consistency.
His effort saw him edge a strong field in a contest that demanded precision across the nine-hole course.
In the ladies’ category, Duba carded 89 gross to secure the Overall Lady’s Gross title, producing a steady round to finish top among the women competitors.
The battle for other Division I honours was equally tight.
Fidehlis Kimanzi returned 73 gross to finish as Men’s Runner-Up, while Eric Genga and Joseph Gathumbi both posted 79 gross, settling for third and fourth positions respectively on countback.

In the junior ranks, Annan Rogito impressed with a score of 110 gross to claim top honours, underscoring the growing participation of young golfers in the series.
Strong performances were also recorded across handicap categories.
In Division II (handicap 13–24), Peter Wahome secured the Men’s Winner title with 38 points, while Night Doris topped the ladies’ field with 34 points.
Division III (handicap 25 and above) saw Diana Musyoka card 34 points to win, as Robert Maina claimed the Guest category with 30 points.
Bernard Matimu emerged Staff Winner with 31 points.
The Railway leg attracted over 144 golfers, reflecting the rising popularity of the NCBA Golf Series as it continues to provide a competitive platform for players of all skill levels.

Speaking during the prize-giving ceremony, NCBA House Branch Manager Florence Mutua highlighted the tournament’s impact on the sport.
“We are encouraged by the level of competition and participation we continue to see across the NCBA Golf Series. This platform is about giving golfers opportunities to compete consistently, improve their game, and be part of a vibrant golfing community,” she said.
The series now heads to Nanyuki Golf Club on April 11, with players chasing qualification slots for the Grand Finale set for later in the year at Karen Country Club.
